In the following box you may enter a sentence or noun phrase in latin. If you prefer, you can select a random sentence from the Confessiones of St. Augustine as input, by pressing the "TOLLE, LEGE" button. After that you may invoke the LATINA parser to compute the most probable syntactic analysis of this text and then extract the factoids from it (press "PARSE AND TRANSDUCE"). A factoid is roughly a skeleton sentence or noun phrase, represented by a dependency tree. Please note that the parser is still a prototype. It is not (yet) good at disambiguation and may make a mess of the analysis, in particular for long sentences. Yet for short sentences it may surprize you.
